The Speed XC model features an upper made of three different layers.
The first layer is water-repellent, the second is a membrane that makes the shoe breathable and water-resistant, and the third layer provides reinforcement.
The lining is also made of three different layers. The first layer, which contacts the foot, has been treated with an antibacterial finish. The second layer is a breathable and water-resistant membrane. The third layer reinforces the construction.
The stitching between the upper and lining is heat-sealed to make the shoe highly water-repellent.
A traditional lacing system is designed for quick entry, and a gusseted tongue prevents water ingress, with seamless polyester lining to keep the outdoor enthusiast comfortable and dry.
A 4 mm EVA midsole offers plate protection against stone damage, and a lightweight, patterned 4 mm Vibram TC-1 Dura outsole provides enhanced traction on a wide variety of surfaces.
FiveFingers can be machine washed at a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius. Air dry.
